macOS Security Requirements, Window Persistence, and Ping Accuracy

Hello INCY team,

A friend recommended INCY, and I really like its design, interface, and features. I would like to share a few observations and suggestions.

1. App Store version — Full Security requirement

My Apple Silicon Mac uses Reduced Security in Startup Security Utility because this is required by other software I use. I therefore cannot switch to Full Security.

However, the App Store version of INCY refuses to launch and requires me to increase the security level. Other comparable applications work without requiring this change.

Could you investigate whether this restriction can be removed so the app can use the standard macOS Network Extension framework without requiring higher startup security? The App Store version would be my preferred option.

2. GitHub version — Apple Silicon

- Window size and position: Neither is preserved after closing the app. It reopens with a large, square window every time. Please consider remembering the last window size and position.
- UI scaling: Scaling can be increased to 200%, but cannot be reduced to, for example, 80% or 75%.
- Server ping: Results appear correct only for the connected server when TCP is selected. Most other servers frequently show 0–1 ms, which is clearly inaccurate. Another comparable client measures the latency of these same servers correctly.

3. Application size

The App Store version occupies approximately 167 MB on my Mac, while the GitHub DMG is nearly 400 MB. Since both versions target Apple Silicon, I am curious about the reason for this difference.

4. Small UI suggestion

An option to hide the macOS menu bar icon would also be useful.

My priority: I would first like to be able to use the App Store version without changing my Mac's startup security policy. If this is technically impossible, preserving the window size and position in the GitHub version would be the most important improvement for my daily workflow.
